Bio

Nella van den Brandt is a qualitative researcher of religion and gender at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies of the KU Leuven in Belgium. Her monograph Religion, Gender and Race in Western European Arts and Culture: Thinking Through Religious Transformation was published in February 2024 with Routledge. She is senior editor of the international peer reviewed journal Religion and Gender.
